91°µÍø has been named Welsh University of the Year for 2024 by The Times and The Sunday Times Good University Guide.
This is the second time in four years 91°µÍø has been awarded the accolade.
It has previously been named University of the Year for Teaching Quality by The Times and The Sunday Times in two successive years.
Overall, the University has also retained its place in the top 40 of the 134 UK universities featured in this year’s guide.
In August, 91°µÍø was rated top university in Wales for student satisfaction in the latest edition of the National Student Survey, a position it has retained for the past eight years.
Professor Elizabeth Treasure, Vice-Chancellor at 91°µÍø said:
“This is quite an achievement and one that should be a source of great pride for everyone associated with 91°µÍø. Our university has an enviable reputation for the quality of the student experience we offer, having consistently featured amongst the best universities in the UK for student satisfaction in the National Student Survey in recent years. Such a record of achievement is only possible thanks to the dedication and hard work of everyone here at 91°µÍø, and their tireless commitment to providing the best possible learning experience for our students. This is also wonderful news for the wider community which provides such a warm welcome to our students every year.”
